GIOVANNI PILU COMES TO CIVICO
Two Chefs | Two Houses | Two Regions
At their cottage above the sand in Freshwater, Giovanni Pilu has spent years making Pilu the address for Sardinian cooking in Sydney.
In his Paddington terrace at No. 47, Matteo's cooking reaches far beyond a single region. Before Civico, Matteo was at the helm of the Pilu at Freshwater kitchen as head chef for four years.
This August, Matteo hosts Giovanni at his house.
For this night the two Italians cook side by side: Giovanni bringing his southern Sardinian signature, Matteo reigning dishes from his northern home.
Thursday 13 August, from 6:30pm, at Civico 47 in Paddington.

AL FRESCO DINING AT CIVICO
Come down and enjoy our outdoor tables. Whether you’re walking the dog, bringing the kids, or just want some fresh air - the outside tables at Civico 47 are the perfect place to unwind.
Our full à la carte menu is available at lunch and dinner, and there’s a small plate menu that runs all day from 12 noon on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
Just remember to request an outside table in your booking.
